Old News

A while ago I went through my closet and looked at where my shirts were made. The list follows:
  • 2x Indonesia
  • 2x Guatemala
  • Malaysia
  • Canada
  • Madagascar
  • Hong Kong
  • Taiwan
  • 2x Bangladesh
  • 2x India
  • Kuwait
  • Honduras
  • Korea
  • Dominican Republic
  • Qatar
  • Mexico
  • Sri Lanka
Isaac made the point that many shirts may have only passed through the country to which they are attributed in order to avoid import quotas, but this is still a stunning and powerful demonstration of the global nature of the economy. Also that I have a lot of shirts.
